Help me, lost files! (Reward) Problem with EasyCD!

Hi!

I just found out that 3 of my BackUp CD's with my documents and vaction pictures, don't work!!!

They were burned in Roxio/Adaptec Easy CD Creator And burned without errors.

I also found out why they don't work, there was a problem using a version of Easy CD Creator and Windows 2000, Adaptec fixed the problem with a update, but I still have 3 CD's that don't work.

And I'm sure that the files are on the CD's because when I use a hexeditor, I can see the file header and the files.

Soooo, how do I extract them?

If anybody can help me, I'm willing to give you a cash reward, coz I really need the files!

Please e-mail me!!!!

Thanx,

Michael

Thx, for the fast reply!

I trashed EasyCD creator long ago, now I'm using CdrWIN and Nero.

Tried the ISO buster, but never tried "CDR Inspector".

I think it changed name to "CD-R Diagnostic" (w*w.cdrom-prod.com/cd-r_diagnostic.html)
Do you have it?

The links on this page have all gone dead!

Thx again!!!!!!

:D

the links on the main site work ..
Proably a problem with your provider or your system ;)

THANKS! But still not working...

Thanks again both of you...

N.B. you are right I found a link that worked. I used the search function and found some old links, I think.

Now I've tried them and all they say is "Unknown data track."

One problem might be, that there's no lead/in track?

I've included a screendump from the program.

Hope you still got a idea how to "fix" this! ;-)

Yeah, I'm about ready to give up!

But cool input, all!

Now I'll go online and kill a few germans in Medal of Honor,
and think of Adaptec / Roxio when they die!
