HELP HELP HELP with PC to Mac

LTR12101B,
I know that the CDEverywhere works perfectly, but the price tag is too much. Have you used the Demosten program before? Can it make an *.iso* image in strickly Mac format from a PC? Most of the programs I've researched needs the PC to be able to access a Macintosh CD-ROM, Macintosh hard drive, Macintosh high density diskettes or a Macintosh removable drive in order to create the hybrid CD. Do you know if this is one of those programs or is it like the CDEverywhere (that doen't need to be hooked up to anything Macintosh to be able make an *.iso* that can be read only on the Macintosh)?
No way to test that, since my only Mac is a raincoat :D

It uses the hybrid ISO9660/HFS capabilty of MKISOFS, so it certainly does not need a HFS volume to be present.

Only tinkered with it, not used it seriously - just to keep in touch with possible freewares that could realistically take on mainstream burning tasks - and that would meet the most critical alt.comp.freeware definition of freeware (where some people are a bit sniffy about "free for personal use only").

The beauty of freeware - give it a bash, it costs nothing except perhaps a wasted CD.

Cequadrat WinOnCD Power Edition 5 costs only $ 39.99 (download edition), and does the job perfectly well. IMHO it is a much better program that Nero 5/6 and WinOnCD 6- provided that you will not install DirectCD.

I downloaded and intalled the Demosten Front End program. It took awhile to fugure it out, but it seams to work great. It's not as easy as the CDEverywhere.

I've been searching for the CDEverywhere v.2.0.03 (Older Professional version) but all I find is the Serial #'s and the Key generators. Those don't help if my version of CDEverywhere is v2.0.67. The link on the download page boast v2.0.30 but it just takes you to the CDEverywhere Demo download page for v.2.0.67. [Maybe someone from CDRSoft can look into that?] I'll keep looking though, I figure it's out there somewhere. CDEverwhere is sooooo easy to use, to understand and does that exact things I need it to do. Otherwise, it seems, the Front End from Demosten is working fine but not as easy.

Thanks again for everyones help. GREAT SIGHT I think CDRSOFT is the best.

We won't provide any serials here, of course... if CDTFE works for you and you are not willing to spent 40$ for Cequadrat, then keep it.
