hard drice

hello just formated 120 gb harddrive installed windows xp on it
when i look at properties it say 111 gb any ideas .
i've only used 6 gig can you help me

your hard drive is ok ...
the prob is the definition of gb, most companies define one GB as 1 000 000 000 Byte, but in computer terms 120 000 000 000 bytes are 120 000 000 000 / (1024 * 1024 * 1024) = 111.7 GB
