hard disk prob Q263939

got exactly that problem:

the page says it's an SP1 and SP2 problem only but the hotfix is listed on the Post SP3 hotfix list geoff posted, and some of the fileversions are newer than mine
sisoft sandra just aftre boot: 30MB/s
a little later: 3MB/s
getting a new ATA133 controller soon, perhaps it helps, but not sure.
want that damn hotfix
the MS hotfix server (hotfix.microsoft.com) is down
and when trying to send a support request MS tells me i can't get online help with that Product ID (it really is a legal one ...)
"This Product ID number you entered is not eligible for online support. You may go back and choose another support option or enter another Product ID number."
i even did another support request and it worked some time ago with the same microsoft passport account.
you got an idea how to get that hotfix ?

but i couldn't find this hotfix there, most of the files there are security hotfixes and not Post SP3 hotfixes
afaik these are not available for public download ...
