Try the trouble shooters approach disconnect all drives apart from the main boot hard drive ..
Then boot up with the main drive into windows and then close down add a cdrom/cdrw to that cable and boot up and see if that is recognized if it is then shut down and add another hard drive and boot up check that its recognized then shut down add the next device /cdrom/hard drive and boot up ....check each drive and rom in turn in this method and possibly eliminate a faulty drive /cable do this with both cables and all devices and see if they all work both individually and as part of a complete system
