H-LG 4120B and Nero

Having trouble getting Nero to recognize 8X Arita DVDs. Only wishes to write them at 4X and then produces a write error when it does. Just upgraded Nero to latest and greatest and updated firmware to A101.
Drive works great on 4X disks. Running XP home.
Any help would be appreciated.

i think it's a simple media problem; use quality media and also check out what brands LG's homepage recommends for 8x burning;

It's a common problem.Your disc's media code are probably not in the firmware media table.Maybe save these discs for a later firmware revision.Go with Duracell's advice for now, much (cheaper,safer).
