I suppose I should introduce myself. I've been playing with video and audio and compression and all that fun stuff for a while now. I just bought a DVD recorder so now I should be in for some serious fun. One of my friends has a digital camera so I'm sure we'll be able to make all sorts of insanity.
I'm about to start a list of open source / freeware digital video programs and I must say TFM will be near the top. It's not that I don't like Pinnacle, I just want to show people the alternatives to spending hundreds of dollars on software. Or for some people it's an alternative to piracy
