If I was using ghost 2003 op 2) would be the best option to go with as long As you drive can hold the data to be stored..
Still I use Acronis True Image which does a fine job to DVD's or in my case FIREWIRE Harddrive..fast as well...at backing up to..Works every time unlike Ghost 2003 for mi anyway.
OP 1) Would be fine if your data is not to big.. unless ghost supports DVD media back up?

PS: How big is your drive you which to back up?

I use Ghost 2003..due to its support for DVD Writers...I have the Plextor 504A +R/RW....and it works flawlessly...I also backup to one of my 4 Harddrives...using the default boot disk made by Ghost is fine..but I customized my bootdisk to add cdrom drivers for images saved to cd not made with Ghost

Thanks both for the help :)
my harddisk is 120GB -split to C 60GB (47 free)- F 30GB and G 30GB
I have TrueImage v6 (build 308 dutch) on my comp, but it not support dvd,
maybe i must upgrade the prog to english for a higher verse
A have a DVD Nec 1100a +R/RW .
Have a copy with it ,(7 cd) but don't know it do the job when it required.
because everything is o.k. now.
So thought i make another with ghost 2003 .and such as jroc say,it support dvd

(PS RASTABT have you make the image in windows )

just a warning: using TI with a *cough, lets say* "non bought" already blacklisted serial will be end in a surprising restoring process;

Greetings from
Duracell

Yes ,i know , it's just a shame ,when you purchase TI ,i have v6 build 329
and there is a upgr ,jou must buy the upgr. again.
Normal (for me) when you bought v 6.0 al the upgr are gratis. to v 7.0
