freezing

hi ive recently changed isp ive changed from wanadoo to pipex the only problem is that ive set up going on the net and say im downloading something and i try to do something else my computer starts freezing on the programs ive done an antivirus check and i had 10 unwanted programs and 1 trojan just wondered if anyone has any idea why it doing this as it was working fine before

I would suggest installing some type of Anti-Virus program and remove the “10 unwanted programs and 1 trojan”.

I would also suggest checking for any Spyware that you might have. Suggest tying a Spyware remover similar to Spybot Search and Destroy (http://www.spybot.info).

I would also suggest installing a software Firewall program similar to Sygate Personal Firewall (http://smb.sygate.com).

You have asked, “if anyone has any idea why it doing this”. To me it is obvious that you have downloaded some type of virus/trojan/spyware.

If you take the steps suggested above will prevent this happing again. If you don’t you will continue to have these problems.
