Can someone tell me why I am losing such a great number of frames when I had started a frameserver in VirtualDub, and had saved it as an avi file instead of a vdr file so it would work correctly in TMPGEnc.
1) I have run Auxsetup.exe and properly configured/installed the the AVIFile Frameclient.
2) I went into TMPGEnc Plus, and opened up the Frameserver file needed to import the data correctly to the program.
Now here comes the problem, when I first captured the file in VirtualDub, I had only dropped 15 frames from the whole entire movie. That's the best I've ever been able to do so far. Anyway, now for the problem, the original DivX 5.02-encoded-file had a total of 167550 frames, whereas the file I am encoding in TMPGEnc has a total of 134037 frames; why might this problem be occuring, and how might I go about fixing it? Thanks.
