Frameserving problems...

Can someone tell me why I am losing such a great number of frames when I had started a frameserver in VirtualDub, and had saved it as an avi file instead of a vdr file so it would work correctly in TMPGEnc.
1) I have run Auxsetup.exe and properly configured/installed the the AVIFile Frameclient.

2) I went into TMPGEnc Plus, and opened up the Frameserver file needed to import the data correctly to the program.

Now here comes the problem, when I first captured the file in VirtualDub, I had only dropped 15 frames from the whole entire movie. That's the best I've ever been able to do so far. Anyway, now for the problem, the original DivX 5.02-encoded-file had a total of 167550 frames, whereas the file I am encoding in TMPGEnc has a total of 134037 frames; why might this problem be occuring, and how might I go about fixing it? Thanks.

No, I would not have any use for PAL since I live in the U.S. However, the original file I captured with VirtualDub 1.5 was with a framerate of 29.9706. Then when I served it to TMPGEnc, I was using the KVCD template: KVCD-ULBR-352x240-_NTSCFilm_-PLUS.mcf, which captures at a framerate of 23.976, which according to http://www.kvcd.net/dvd-models can hold up to 360 minutes on one cd-r. I'm just now gonna burn it to a cd and test it out to see if KVCDs actually work on my DVD Player.

Well, as I said, I burned the movie to the cd-r disc, and sure enough, it plays great on my DVD Player. The quality isn't the best, but that's mostly because I have to use WDM for capturing at the moment. Currently I use my e-GeForce4 Ti-4600 128mb for capturing. As I said, the quality may not be the best, but it is still perfectly watchable.

If you capture at 29.97 and convert to 23.976 then you are basically chopping out 6 frames every second. Can you change that in the KVCD template? If not load in the KVCD template, then the UNLOCK template (comes with TMPGenc) then change the fps to 29.97.
