yipeeeeeeeee erm more bugs what GLEE AND FUN .......NOT!!!!, im still using 5.5.9.0 every other build is too buggy

EDIT: Also, RASTABT verified that this is actually a Liteon in a TDK outfit.
I wouldn't know how buggy it is with any version beyond 5.5.9.0 because that's the one I have installed. It came with my TDK 48x, which is really a Liteon if I can beleive the folks over at CDFreaks (and I think I can). Nero has its uses, as a starter burning soft it is fine.
To expect a newbie to start with EAC and discjuggler etc is pretty unrealistic.
It is not an EZ Cremator type registry killer, so lets not get confused with that.
For all its bugs, its still the most popular burning soft out there.
A lot of us still use it too, in some shape or form, even if most of us have a PC snobbery complex about it.
If u find a stable version of any soft that does all u need, the only person to blame for introducing bugs by version chasing is you.
People are already bullied into not asking questions about EZCD.
Lets not do the same with the many Nero users out there!

Dave if there is one thing you and I agree on it's the old addage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
If something gets the job done for you then don't take unnecessary risks by upgrading when there are no fixes that you need. I understand enthusiasm for a product, but computers are fickle things. In theory, most modern hardware should work flawlessly with most modern software (generally speaking). But the reality is much different as evidenced by the problems posted here.
Also, cheers to the fellas who proudly admit to using Roxio's Easy CD Creator. I don't bash the program as it is really great for some people, especially beginners. The only reason I don't use it is because it has way too many features than I need, taking up unnecessary hard drive space.
