Firewall problem!!!

I got big problem.I was using zapro26362--worked perfect.I upgraded to zapro3--still worked good.After first update came;file3026,everything is wrong.Im making rules for all my proggies,it works,but as soon as i reboot,firewall starts asking permisions for proggys which were approved allready...I uninstalled zapro and tryed sygate and kerio---same thing.I did uninstall zapro properly...Any idea,info,something......or some new firewall to try???

did file 3026 have some kind of "bomb" in it???
could it have possibly done something to the reigistry and/or the win.ini file???
some programs want to start from win.ini but after uninstall the commands or loading prompts are still in there
not sure exactly just throwing out some suggestions of strange things i have seen

No problem bud,any info is fine I dont know;Thats official zapro file.I havent installed some other proggys except oo defragger(i uninstalled that--just to be sure,but same thing).....Stupid thing is--i dont know where to start

Thanks guys;Didnt have roxio(same for future).Im having big problems stiill--sllowly getting better.I uninstalled zapro 4,5 times with kerio too.Both kept asking for permissions.I would create the rules,but as soon i rebooted same thing.Finally started """working"""but couldnt load vector...At the end i got 26357 working good,and now is fine.Will keep it for few days,to ""stabillaze""and will try sygate again.I liked kerio--freeware is perfect-but didnt work.or will try kerio first--but i leaving zapro for sure---everything started with upgrade to version3 Pokopiko,thanks bud for firmware thread(hp7100)-do not know why,but couldnt post there so you recomending it 100%,right,i just feel bad to put it in garbage,if it still works

You might want to give Kerio PF v2.11 a try. It doesn't have ANY of the problems I had with Sygate or ZA Pro. I am very happy with it. Been running it now for 3 days without any problems at all.

I think something else was wrong;All 3 firewals acted same;Now i got 26362 working,but kerio looked good,so as soon i think its stable,will use kerio( i downloaded allready)

there is a way to restore your system without goback
i can't remember exactly how i did it but will find out
it uses the restore function in msdos
i remember using a boot disk (floppy) and geting into C prompt
typing restore and rebooting
it restores back to last successful boot

you can do it from windows but exactly how i can't remember
i will look into it

Thanks guys,i ghosted it.Zapro 26362 is working good sofar now,but kerio will be tryed very soon(as soon this fucks up again---i dont wanna touch it now after all this probs..)

You could be right;But i found it that slows down the pc,Its a Croxio product ,and the best(fastest) way is;Ghost,Tha MAN of power

ZAPro got fu...d again,kerio started working allright,but suddenly started shoving---error1060,Installed sygate(4hours ago--still works),but something is def. going wrong,will reformat my hd and make ghost backup as soon sygate stop working properly....

Yep,2xreboots and sygate is down too,interesting thing is that i ghosting the system;and is repeating the problem;My only appz are;windows 2000prof,office pro,internet exp6,all updates with sp2,few audio painless app """and zapro2.6...Anyway.if somebody have any info??????I will format the hd and make new image in few days,but im so curious what the problem is?????????????????????????????Well,who cares

I did saw your comment for dll uncheck,i did it on all 3 firewalls,but didnt help..Also i did monitor installation for all of them-every time,every piece of every software is removed,but still problems!!!
