I guess, i choose a confusing labeling there, that is if i understand your problem correctly.

The (Your Version is : x.x.x.xxx) only displays what InstantCopy Version you are currently running, it does not say anything about your set / saved settings! And the Display Menu toggles between the settings valid for IC 7.0.1.114+ and those only Valid for IC 7.0.3.140.

If the settings are actualy not stored to the registry, plz let me know and we look in to it closer!

Any suggestions for more clear labeling are welcome:)

Yep, it seems it will not store the "update 3" settings so every time you load saved settings you still get the GUI for the older version of IC7.

Do you get my meaning there m8? :)

@Laz i guess i get you, if i understand you, you expect ICHSE to start with the page or switch to the page when loading of the 7.0.3.140 Settings, right ?

if so, it wont! it always shows the 7.0.1.114 Settings 1st, because they are only splitt on those 2 pages for 2 reasons: a) to make it more clear that the 2nd Page is only supported by 7.0.3.140 and above , b) not to have to squeeze it all on one page, it looks to overloaded then or would break the 800x600 boundary.

So please check if the values for DVDVideoSaveBorder, DVDDestSize and DVDDestDisplaySize are saved correctly to the values you have set, to see if ICHSE works properly , but you have to switch to that page manually!

do you dislike this behaviour ?
i just though it would be the most appropriate behaviour to always open the 1st settings supported ?!?

Small problem with PDIControl

Hi,

since (IIRC) v1.3.4, I have a small problem with PDIControl. Whenever I click "Extract Files", I get two consecutive "Browse For Folder" dialogs. That is, the first one pops up, I select a folder and click OK and the same dialog pops up again. I need to select a folder again and click OK and now it starts extracting the files. OS is German XP SP1. Thanks!

Thanks, fixed now.

I found another (although not so fancy) hidden setting you could add to ICHSE: in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VoB\CD Wizard\7.0, you can add a DWORD value 'DisableScreenSaver'. When set to 1, this will, surprisingly, disable the screen saver while IC is running :)

k, i'll consider, but since it can easily be accessed trough General->Options on ICs Dialog, i doubt it make senses to include it (in the already crowded interface)!
