f-secure ?

before i burn any type of data to a cdr i usually shutdown all apps,anti-virus,firewall etc.. but i've notice that when i goto shutdown f-secure the little sucker opens up more file. after two min or so i finally manage to shut it down anyways is this just a security built into it so that no virus could shut it down & is there a way that i can stop it from doing that.

What OS are you on..? And what version of F-Secure?

I use F-Secure but never shut it of when burning. If your system isn´t very slow you shouldn´t need to do this.

The same here. I work as usual when I burn, surf, Mp3 etc. Never a coaster..:) But it has to do with the system and how it´s configured. I have a partition specially for burning and this one is always in best condition, defragmented etc.
