Export and import w98se & w2k file reg

Hi
i'm looking for a free soft to export the file reg for exaple for programs in w2k and vice versa....

is there one ?

The Normal REGEDIT can export registry keys to text, and import them.

Is there anything in particular you're trying do do?

One thing I would NOT recocommend, is trying to lift a program, with scattered files, regkeys and other junk, from one system to another - unless you install originally under control of "InstallRite" http://www.epsilonsquared.com/ you'll never get it all!

i have a lof of prog in a hardisk ,and i don't want to reinstall them
i would like to export programs key and import to w2k

ERUNT is a great free registry backup and recovery tool:

The best thing abou it is that the restore executable can be run from dos or console at a pinch: you don't have to have access to regedit.

But Scarecrow's right -- it won't help you transfer programs to a new installation. Moreover, when the registry's bloxxed, Erunt may get the registry back to a point where windows will boot fully, but it rarely leaves things in a state where all programs are operable. Usually, I find that a full reinstall of the OS is called for in that instance.
