Everytime

Everytime i try to convert an avi to dvd it fails with a write error when i go to burn the dvd. I have tried to burn 2 avis converted to dvd now and both have failed during the burning process.

i am burning onto a DVD+RW and im using a liteon LDW-411S writer and i have never had any burning problems when burning a normal dvd.

I was wondering if it was the media i was using but i do not want to burn the dvd onto a normal DVD+R disc as i believe i will just be wasting discs.

Hope someone can help and will be greatful for any advice.

What s/ware U using to encode & burn??

im following chickenmans tute using SVCD2DVD and CCE and TMPGEnc to autor dvd files....

Im using nero to burn but i have also tried TMPGEnc's dvd writing tool to burn but still get the error. So it cannot be the software that im using

what speed/make of media os your DVD+RW !?

have you tried lowering the burnspeed !?

ive tried lowering to 2x speed and still no luck
