Everything is fine for my SP1 final except ... please help !

I have just installed sp1 build 1106 last nite. Everything seems to be fine so far.

I have checked the version/build info "string" and compared them against screenshots from various sites & forums... i am pretty convinced that this build is final... but when I look at my currrent version of Windows Media Player, it is still uisng version 8.00.00.4487.

So I would like to know where to download the "official" release of MS Windows Media Player 9.0 from the web ?

Any suggestion or feedback ?

Yes, Build 1106 is FINAL. SP1 does not include Windows Media Player 9 and/or DirectX9 since both are still in beta stages. WMP9 can't not be "officially" download right now because like i said it is still in beta stages. If you want to download the beta builds, then you can search in this forum. But beware, microsoft can receive information and spy on you in WMP9.

messenger ersion is 4.7.0041..... not too sure if thats any diffrent than the last messenger update tho... but its what i have with SP1 installed
