Errr..What do you think of this..Repackaged freeware for sale?

Just found this-I suspect it`s repackaged ripped off freeware/open source stuff masquarading as a new program package (for $39.95!)

However,(and here`s the rub... ) After a little more searching around I managed to track down what I suspect is EXACTLY the same package-but (in exchange for an email address to receive their mailings) was FREE!!....
Go here and see.Ignore the PS2 only billing-I think that`s only part of the package..(Doesn`t look like warez- fortunately!!)

Just been back to giftsgallery-now they suddenly want a password to enter the page it`s on...Very strange.. So just go to the home page at http://giftsgallery.homestead.com/ scroll down...and click on the link...
Done... Looks like I was in the right place at the right time last night then....Still not installed the software though..a few so-called tutorials thrown in also..Claims that the software`s free only because the company and/or authors that produced it are no more...(abandonware?) In exchange for an email address? Hmmm....Smells fishy to me....
I see the first link`s "final sale deadline" has been extended yet again..Tonight at midnight..surprise.. surprise.. Errr..same again tomorrow by any chance?
