eDonkey & sharereactor.com Download Speed?

i dont really care for any P2P program altho i have never tried edonkey i have tried about evrything else out there and still much prefer ftp to p2p. i have always been more than willing to share what i have and most people in turn will upload something i dont have. anyone interested in trading anymore or is p2p the way people go these days?

Johnny FTP is still the best if you can find good servers, however p2p clients are a substitute for when the ftp's you go to don't have what you are looking for.
It all depends what you want and such. Personally I feel there is no 1 guaranteed source for everything, so that's why in general most have a fiew sources for getting things:
-this site
-ftp
-peer2peer
-html warez sites
-trading
-software pirate shops (depending on where you live)
-maybe something else?

i agree shadow it is getting very hard to find good ftp sites these days but when u find them they r normally very worthwhile...... whatever happened to the old days when uwwwb was alive and well? btw i was going to try edonkey but for some reason or other i cant get their site open, dunno if they r havin tech difficulties or not

1. Usenet has always been my best place for files.

2. Privated FTP (I haven't done any for the past 4-5 years)

And forum like this one is very enjoyable, it can be the best source for members who don't have access to Usnet, FTP etc. but forum like this sure gives different benefit to all members.
