Easy way to wipe Track 0 on a USB drive?

Does anybody know a easy way which I could wipe Track 0 on a USB drive?
For me I currently use the DumpDisk Tool and manually type/write all 0's to Track 0, but is there any other utility that wipe Track 0 without me doing it manually?
By the way, It is a USB drive and not an IDE.

I take it when you say USB drive your on about,,,a usb hard drive,memory stick, media card of some form?

A usb drive is only an IDE hard drive packaged in an enclosure wich has an IDE to USB interface (it can be a 2.5" drive like the ones used in laptops or a 3.5" drive), if you want to deal with your drive from windows try with Partition Magic or Ontrack Disk Manager.

why do you want to erase track 0?

The reason I want to erase track 0 is because that it could be junked by programs, viruses etc... And for this reason, I want to wipe track 0 or the whole disk so I could get a fresh start.
And please correct me if I am wrong! :)

Does it? Where could I find the option "Erase Track 0 / Wipe Disk"?
I only know that it could resize, delete, and add partitions.
But even though all partitions are deleted, Sector 0 isn't blank.

And BTW, is it possible that viruses could hide in that sector?

You want to delete TRACK 0 or SECTOR 0? I'm not sure they are the same...

Sector 0 could be cleared, maybe with Ranish Partition Manager @ http://www.ranish.com/part/ I never used this program but maybe it could help...

Haaa.. USB isnt it... so no DOS... hum...

Maybe there is a option on Bart's site... try http://www.nu2.nu/bootcd/ for info on creating a cd thats boot and could access usb...

If the first HD partition is not primary, then track zero is not formatted/used at all.
Even if the partition is primary but NOT active, then again no boot info (including MBR viruses) can be put there.
