Easy Cd 5 Plat & InCD

Hi all & a warm welcome 2 all

Just 1 question.Still havin trouble with Artec WRR4848 & Nero.Just tried 2 copy a cdr that had 8mile on it as video.Have tried this with original firmware (1.00) & the new one on artec's site (1.07)This changes Justlink 2 Superlink & Justspeed 2 generic write control in nero.Also the later fw screws up Alcohol(it say drive has no burnproof feature when it does with earlier fw.With original fw the copy got 2 46% & then failed with a write error.With new fw it fails just as it spins up drive.This is tryin 2 copy it 2 image then burn.I mean copying the disc in burner 2 hd & then copying on2 cdr.

This drive is really doing my head in as out of 4 boxes of 10cdr, ihave 2 boxes of readable discs &2 boxes of coasters:(

This is at 48x, if i try 32x the cd is created succes, but is unreadable

So i wipe nero & install Easy Cd Cremator 5.3.4 & it burn 2 cds no probs!!!

So my queastion is this (any further help with above prob apprec)
Can I Install ECD5 & Incd or is it better just 2 go 4 full roxio setp(DirectCD had no probs readin incd formated CDRWs

Thanx 4 the info RW.Have ditched Nero & went 4 full roxio setup& it works just fine.No Probs burning at all.Still cant understand why the software that came with drive wont work.It would start writing but leave big rings of blank area on cdr???

Everything working ok Apart from directCD.It wont let me format a cdr(memorex48x)Have tried 4 discs, each one fails with a read data error & asks me 2 insert another.

Any1 know what might be causin this.Can burn data, audio cds no probs, but try 2 format cdr with DirectCD.Not a chance in hell

They aere failing just as it verifies the written disc structures

Ok seem 2 have got directCD workin with cdr's, turn;s out the builtin UDF reader was clashing.After i disable it, im able 2 format cdrs

:)So once again a thousand thanks 2 all who helped me wit this prob:)Cheers RW
