i read that version 3 was out but their website only has version 2.5 trial for download, does anyone know where i can download version 3 from???

This is the same version that you download from their web site. It still requires registration. This is not warez nor is it free. Just the same trial.

As to the other folders, don't know...

DVDXCopy_GOLD_v3.0.1_full_install.exe and this one DVDXCopy_XPRESS_v3.0.1_full_install.exe ?

Try their website??? Gold is DVDXCopy + XPRESS.
