I'm trying to install a hp dvd300e on a computer that has windows 98' as it's operating system. I kept encountering an RPC STUB error, so I went into MS-DOS and renamed the .dll to register the program. I was finally able to install Record Now® but it's telling me that there is no drive located on the computer that supports Cd burning when the dvd300e is connected via a USB port. I think i need driver so that the dvd300e can be supported by the USB. This has been a nightmare trying to figure out any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.

Have you tried the installation discs from HP?
