DVD2SVCD only supports AVI's with PCM, MP3, MP2 or AC3 audio tracks. So wether or not a WMA pluggin is installed or not, it still wont accept it.

You need to convert the AVI to an AVI with a PCM(WAV) or MP3 audio track. Use Nandub, load in avi, set Video to Direct Stream Copy, Audio to Full Processing. Then set Audio Compression to either PCM or MP3. Use PCM if you have plenty of HD space. Then Save AVI. Then use that one for DVD2SVCD.

thanks for that chickenman

thanks for ur help chickenman,

i have tried that but it throws a error message whilst its saving 'AC3....' thats all i can read because it very pops up fast and dissapears. damn!

what do you thinks the matter?

AC3? I thought we were talking about DivX audio?

To do the AC3 like that you would need to install an ACM AC3 decoder, however I wouldn't recommend it as the only two that I have seen were basically designed for preview only.

According to ChickenMan's post DVD2SVCD supports AC3 AVI's anyway.
