DVD2SVCD Exceeding Video Bitrate

Hiya :)

I'm using version 1.2.3 build 1 and although the video bitrate is set at 9000 max, occasionally the video bitrate comes out at 9800 ?

I recently encoded an Xvid (716, 702kb) with 448kbps ac3 audio and when authoring with Tmpeg DVD Author it complained the overall bitrate was 10248kbps and does not comply to dvd standards.

Does anyone know of a work around for this bug?

Thanx
M

Are the dvd compliant box checked in Encoder | Advanced settings ?
Having it checked will generate that error message in tmpgenc dvd author :)

Its best to actually leave DVD Compliant ticked and ignore the error that TMPGEnc DVD Author comes up with. Clearly the encoded avi does NOT have a bitrate of 9800 (check with Bitrate Viewer), its just the header thats set to that and TMPGEnc DVD Author just reads the header. Author the same files in Meastro, Scenarist, DVDLab, etc and NONE of them will give that error, TDA is the only one that does.
