DVD2SVCD errors when converting

Hi
I've had to reinstall XP and therefore have had to reinstall DVD2SVCD and all codecs.
Prior I had no problems converting avi's to svcd but now I'm experiencing problems.
I've configured everything as per the tutorial but the video wont encode although the audio does. I did this on an avi that I know I previously converted sucessfully. At one point I got an error saying it was looking to open a program which was directed to the default folder for the conversion.
I know there's not much detail here but I dont know what info to give. If someone would help it would be much appreciated.
Cheers
Jola

Do the AVI's play okay with Windows Media Player and in VirtualDUB ? If not, then you have a DivX/Xvid codec problem.

If they do play okay, then you probably have an Avisynth issue. Re-install DVD2SVCD. Also get a copy of Avisynth 2.55 and install that into the same folder that DVD2SVCD installs it.
