hey guys..just done carlitos way this morning which is a 2 hour and 20 minute film in 29.50 mins with this DVD2ONE software,quality is as good as a CCE one pass encode,which is good enough for most people i think,no menus tho.but give em time its only the first release,this is truly a great program.i think you must have a fast pc for it to do the biusness tho,iam running a p4 2.66@3.2 with 512 of corsair platinum 434DDR Memory on an Abit it7 max2 v2.0,dont know how it works but it just does...SO ENJOY IT DUDEZ.:D

It's an amazing piece of code!!! Save you a lot of time. The quality is more than acceptable. Do a little search and you should find it.

The only trouble I am having with it stops the dvd playing at certain point in the movie, mostly late in the movie, but only on the stand alone dvd player{OMNI 4000}, but they play thru on the pc, altho with some difficulty.
Anyone shed any light.

its probably down to the media you are using to record the film on m8,or your player,or a combination of the two.i`ve done three films now with dvd2one and every one is perfect from start to finish,region 1 MOULIN ROUGE with dts included,CARLITO`S WAY region 2,and to really test it,GREEN MILE region 2 which as we all know is three hours long,but even that came out almost identical to the original film.....SO NO PROBS HERE DUDEZ.:D

i did the german movie "Das Boot" yesterday.
It was the directors cut and it had 199 minutes !!

The result was very grainy and blocky.

If the movie has more than 120 minutes then the results won´t be very impressive ;)

i did star wars 2 in 19min. after i ripped it to hd then made a backup copy in 15 min. that plays fine on my sony multi format stand-alone 5 disc changer. i used 4X verbatim dvd+r disc.

I did the "short" version of Lord of the Rings last night, around 3 hours. 45 min to rip with DVDdecryptor, 25 min in DVDone. Quality looks perfectly acceptable to me, tho I didn't do side by side comparison. I'm not super picky tho.

i agree with Clem, nolonemo and others m8s ... it's really nice prog ... I did "Amadeus" (3 hours!!!) and it took me only 20mins or less ... Very fine results ...
