DVD2one

It depends on what you define as "automatically"... IFOEdit does not do anything automatically, but more or less it does the same ripping/recompiling job as this "gem of a commercial app".
Personally I have no interest at all, but someone else may like this app.

Ifoedit, as the name suggests, edits IFO files. It now has some basic Authoring capabilities but is unable to transcode/re-encode the actual movie.

ifo edit is the easiest way to fit a slightly oversize dvd movie onto a dvd-r.
By removing the unwanted audio/video/subtitle streams u can get many movies (especially Disney ones) onto a dvd-r with no encoding and no demuxing or muxing. The original chapters are still there too.

If this new prog can do a CCE quality dvd encoding in 30 mins I will definately buy it.
If not, I cant see the point of making a poor copy.
Might as well use a vhs tape.

I've tried the demo version on a DVD9 that I have re-encoded to a DVD5 using CCEa and with this new program. CCE encode is defenitely better but not by that much.

I think its only 1 pass from what I've heard. If it gives u the option for 2 pass then we may be cooking!
But then again will it still fit on?
I dont mind it taking 1 hour instead of 30 mins. lol! :D

looks like an impressive tool !

The quality is a littlebit behind CCE but it is a lot faster !

It is as good as they claim!!!
As Master says it is a little grainier than CCE, but if u havent used CCE u will be impressed by this.
If they can improve the quality slightly, then dvd encoding will become as simple as burning a data cd!!
I did a 131 minute film.
Expect quality to get worse for longer films ;)

i have purchased the serial and have the full version.
and it is very good indeed.
i did a test using Gladiator, the TOC was 6.85gig.
when dvd2one had finished, the final result was 4.36gig.
time taken was approx 30 minutes.

as for quality.....its very good, infact i could'nt tell the difference.

Its AMAZING.
I have the full version and copy in 25 minutes(original movie,5.7G).
Can the future CLONEDVDR do better,at the same price?
