Hi peeps one for CM methinks.... is there a plugin for dvd2avi using the d2srobba plugin that allows for converting Quicktime files? why people upload in this format beats me!!

Perhaps you mean DVD2SVCD and not DVD2AVI?
Depending on the quicktime file AVISynth maybe able to load it via directshowsource().

Sorry, but I've rearly played with MOV stuff, and used TMPGEnc with its MOV Plugin to do all my MOV conversions. I've never actually tried loading one into Dvd2svcd and a quick search of my HD didnt find even a small MOV clip to try it.

thats right CM I too use tmpgeng with mov plugin....but as you know it takes a squillion times longer than dvd2svcd and the results are not as good....

What are the stats on the mov? As long as it uses MPEG4 or Sorenson for video and aac for audio you can frameserve it with AVISynth, although CCE can also directly open quicktime files, which you can resize in quicktime, can't figure out a way to pad the video though other than selecting DVD complaint in CCE and having it do it.
