dvd to cdr

hello people i have heard dat is a cdr software that copies dvd´s with out a dvd burner, the burning is made in a normal cdrw with a empty dvd disc.... I would like to know if enyone have heard of this...please post me.... the source that i new this from is not 100% person to trust but sometimes comes with a very good software....

This is not possible cd-r and dvd-r are entirely different in format and specs a cd-rw is not capable to even read a dvd.

@ manier this is not possible as weboneando stated perhaps they are confused and mean that you can make a VCD or SVCD from a dvd which can of course be burnt with any if not all normal CDR/CDRW burners but only on CDR/CDRW media disks :) follow chickenmans tutorials on this forum how to :)

one thing that is neccessary here and often not pointed out is that you DO of course need a DVD (reader) drive in your system to use /read the DVD master copy or it simply will not work/read in a normal cdrom /cdr/cdrw drive :)

This is one of the conwares that are out there

It changes your DVD into a SVCD or VCD to be burned onto CDRW

U can do this for free look in the tutes on this Forum;)

I must say I had ago with DVDx today v2.2 with ripped dvd movies on my hdd already on there and not using this program to rip them. And the end product was very good using default settings to a DIVX format file. Once done you may burn to cdr/cdrw or play from hdd.
But you can't go to wrong with C.M tuts here bro.
DVDx home site is www.labdv.com. if you fancy a try..
