DVD-R to DVD+r

If your drive is multiread enabled then you certainly can.
Direct DVD+R 2 DVD-R is not always possible, as the disk capacity may be exheeded.

I dont know what writer it is until my new dell arrives next week
they only do dvd +r writers but dont say what brand is fitted when they build the pc..

I don´t think that the disc capacity can be a prob ...cause the disc size is the same ...

That depends on the fact if your writer can read the format...which 1 do you have?
The writer ? it isn´t important that your writer supports -r or not .... your reader should be able to read it ....

--> I´m sure u can do a 1:1 (DVD-R to DVD+R)

I assumed that he has only 1 device,the burner....:)

I have a NEC ND1000A, its a +R/RW only, but it will read -R/RW disks which means I can and have done backups from -R disks.

Just use something like DVDdecrypter, read image then write image.

I received a DVD+R discs (XBOX Game) by mistake as my burner is DVD-R, but i was still able to make a copy by reading the DVD+R disc on my DVD-ROM and created an image then burnt that back on a DVD-R media. Worked perfectly.
