DVD Quality

Can anybody help

I have created a backup on a DVD by using DVD Decrytor and DVD Shrink

I then burnt it with Clone DVD onto a Traxdata DVR rw the film has recorded very well but on occasions pases for about half a second to a second before carrying on

My initial thought is that the disc maybe dirty but as this is a dvd that has only been used 2 - 3 times i dont think it is

I thought about burning it to a new dvdr

Does anybody have any idea of the possible cause for the pausing is it due to a inferior quality DVD ie Traxdata

Dont know how good traxdata DVDRW are (never burnt to DVDRW)
Try A good DVDR (ie one with Ritec G04 Dye)

Thank You how will i find out if a particular DVD contains Ritec G04 Dye

There a few apps out on the web, try this one DVDInfo FROM www.dvdinfopro.com or if you order on line most site's give detail on the dye type being used...good luck
