DVD Film from PC to TV

Please could anyone help me with the following,

I want to play a DVD on my PC and watch it on my TV.
I know I will need the connecting leads, but what hardware do I need in the PC ?

well you need some kinda of video out hardware

you might already have it on your graphics card you might not

A DVDROM to play it (or U can Play DVD on DVD Burner)

A Graphics card with TV out (or if your card does not support TV out [most do] a TV out card.<!-- / message -->

yeah but you can get stand alone card to put in your pc to do video out i think

If your card is old??Best bet is to buy a new one video-graphic card with a tvout and video in..So you can record from a satellite-cable-vcr to your pc on a hd...Like its much easyer and better then to convert the movies to dvd every time.....Really simple too..Just run the cable from a tvout to a input on a tv-done....Advantage is that you can watch all those downloaded movies too...I got connected my pc to my stereo and tv and sound going over spdif.its awesome

if you looking for Video-In and Video-Out this is often shortened to "VI/VO"
