DVD Decrypter Help

When i use decrypter it only decrypts the discs at speeds ranging from x1.0 - x2.0. This usually takes anywhere from 45 mins to 1 hr just for 1 disc.

Whereas before when i used decrypter, it decrypted the discs at speeds raging from x8 - x13 as a minimum.

I haven't played around with the settings and i installed the latest version hoping this would fix the problem but it hasn't.

Any help would be extremely grateful.

Is it the same drive?

Some drives have a "riplock", and will not read DVD-video at full speed.


Try a Nero CdSpeed transfer rate test, on a DVD-Video, and on a DVD-Data.

If the Video is low speed, and the data is high, you have a riplock issue (drive hack required).
If both are slow, it's probably a DMA problem.
If both are fast, then it's a software problem.
