Grrrrrrrr, cash flow will now increase my frustration further - but I guess it will be worth waiting for!!! Modern Technology eh!! I remember my good old Amstrad cpc464!!!! LOL!

Dear Chicken Man the CDR Saviour!!! Whilst I wait and save my pennies to invest in some DECENT CDR's, could you help with another problem....this is a question that my friend has asked me (I have given them the address for this site by the way).....My friend has downloaded a ready ripped vcd from one of the p2p networks but it is too big to fit on one disk. Is it a simple case of using the merge and cut function in TMPGenc or is there a more lenghty process to split the VCD onto more than one disk?

Oh what a nuisance us blondes are!!!

@sexyminx im guessing this is an mpeg file how big is it !? as movie files are often mistaken as too big to fit a normal disk ..... where really if burnt as the correct format then its a perfect fit :)

an 820mb mpeg2 file will fit a 700mb cd when burnt as a SVCD :)

get your friend to check the file with GSPOT and determine what type of file it is :)

The merge & cut function of TMPGEnc is very good at cutting a VCD mpg file. But as Viper said, a mpg just over 800meg in size will fit onto a so-called 700meg cdr.
