Dual P3 cpu's mobo's

a lil question for you everyone. Does any one know in a PENTIUM 3 dual cpu motherboard do the cpu's have to be of equal speed e.g. 2 x 500mhz or can they be of different e.g 1) 450mhz 2)500mhz

AFAIK they do have to be identical... at least they had to be in all dual CPU mobos I've used in the past (but all were with Xeon CPU's, not PIII's).

has any one had any use with P3 dual cpu mobo's as am wonderign if there any good and if there worth using in a system and what people recomended

The only P3 mobos that I´ve seen are for Xeons and at the time they were out of price range for my budget and in a small comparison that we made (running audio editors) dual AMD procs were better in a cost/benefit balance, right now with a dual core proc you´ll get a much better response in a single socket.
