Dual Boot Question

Done a bit of reading and doing a dual boot system
with windoze Me & xp looks fairly straight forward
but
Does the partition with xp have to be the last one
ie could I have the C,D,E drives windows Me,F drive Xp and then
G drive Me again or would Xp have to be on the G Drive as I
suspect.
It,s just that I have a lot of data on the G drive and backing it up
would take a while,
thanx

No, girovend, WinXP partition doesn't need to be the last one:)
For example, my XP partition is on C, Me partition on D;)

I'd thought it was only games that might be a prob. Most other s/ware is 'freely' available?

I'm willing to be educated, which s/ware is ME specific??

Some old tools, that I use like grduw, dont run well on xp, I also use it as an life insurance, if one of the os dont boot.

Why Do I Want To Keep ME
Well doing a dual boot will give me a chance to see if I like using xp and also let me know about any conflicts I might have with software,
Before I spend hours doing a fresh install of xp and installing all my drivers and programs.
In fact I have no problems with ME so may decide to keep the dual boot.
