Been testing this program for a couple of days now and works great.
The official website is http://www.powerquest.com/
and there you can download the trial version but it does not have the PQRE option available to you, rendering it kinda useless if you can't login to windows to restore your PC drive(s).
This url will let you download the full ISO from powerquest (343MB) which allows you to use th PQRE (restore bootable CD function):

*Take note that you still have to register this program as it is shareware, or it will expire after 30 days (or something like that). This is not a cracked/warez version. You will have to purchase it for the serial to use it after 30 days.

** I could not find this link directly from powerquest, so if any of the mods feel it is in violation of the rules, feel free to remove the link. I noticed someone was looking for this program and this is only way to really test it fully. I am happy to say it works for me.

Perhaps something is wrong with your IE or your cookie/firewall settings....the link works fine @ my end...

Hi

I have tried the link heaps of times and it doesn't work for me. Maybe PowerQuest have moved it. Do you have another link. As you say the downloadable trial is useless for testing without the PQRE CD.

I think they may have change the way you obtain files now....(account holder's)
Look's like you have to open an account then log in.

Hi

Looks like PowerQuest have taken the file off their server. I even emailed them how you can get a copy of the PQRE to test and their reply was that it can't be done.

Does anyone have a link to an ftp site where I can download the zip file. Much appreciated.

http://www.filemirrors.com/ - A reference to it there appears to have been added on the 1st of October, so that may still tie in with "registered users only" and possibly added when downloading using Getright.

Finding recent/prohibited links on there seems to be a common problem - and the 701 version doesn't seem to be grabbable either.

Access Denied
