Does your writer copy SD2 with the AWS option?

Always Plextor

I've heared that some important features on Plex 24/10/40 depends on TLA and Firmware release (i.e. drive with TLA0101 have problems to copy new SD2 disk)....I have TLA0202 and firmware revision 1.03 (drive without the fan). Is this a good revision?
Last but not least: How can I activate AWS option in CloneCD? (Sorry for this questions.....but i'm newbie :p) Thanks!

If you have a Plex 241040 you don't need to check the AWS box.
The 24* Plex will copy all protections (Except Tages).
The only dif with the TLA is I think certain TLA no struggle with certain audio protections.

@Finchy.I agree, there is no need for AWS with the Plextor 2410A.I have one.It makes perfect SD2 without the AWS option. It does handle all protections, except Tages(so far).

Although not without hiccups, I have been able to copy SD2 titles with my Sony CRX 145E and Clone CD.

These were Harry Potter, Op Flashpoint, POR2.

Haven't tried any others.

They can be used to install fine, but cannot be used if the game uses a CD-Check (Please insert original).

Still with a LiteOn only $239 bucks Australian here what am I stalling for ?

Yamaha CRW2200E/S & AWS

Yeah the yammie work fine with clone(anything)cd when copying SD2 as long as AWS is on (with original firmware)

examples: UK version of Max Payne, Battle Realms, Op flash, B&W
