hi, i have a game and i want to rip the sounds from it, the problem is that they are have a .rss extention and nothin i do will convert them into .wavs or .mp3. so is there a program out there that can convert these files for me?.also if needed the serial or keygen, thanx in advance guys.

Hi,

I'm trying to find out what an .rss file is. But it appears to be a web type file...I'll keep looking

thanx bode, to pinpoint it, its in a game caled "Atomic bomber man" and the samples in the game make me laugh like fk m8, i just wana use the samples for my system n stuff.
thanx for looking m8

"Rich Site Summary" is all i've seen for that file type, too. I think your best bet is to record it to wav or mp3 with total recorder.

.rss are roland sound samples a think ?!

as all stuff i looked at pointed me to roland sites !? have been looking for rss 2 wav convertor for u !? i dont know but maby cool edit pro 2 may have conversions for this file format im not sure i havent got it installed to check but im sure someone here can tell us more !! ;)

I never tried before doing this, but I saw a program at the Mocosoft web site (_hxxp://w*w.paistortuga.com/~mocosoft/), called "Total Recorder", that could record everything it sounds in your PC and save as wav. It's not exactly what you're asking for (convert *.rss to *.wav) but perhaps it works.

This is the text at the Mocosoft web site (sorry but is in spanish)
Total Recorder 4.0 1.21M
sonido y grabarlo posteriormente a formato Wav. Imprescindible.

can you tell us what game uses that format ?
