! DiscJuggler.net Image Format !

 Have finally begun to back-up my ageing CD collection using PADUS DiscJuggler.net v4.01 (Because both Nero and EZCD made a pig's ear of a Michael Jackson album)

The problem: PDJ happily creates a *.cdi format image ready for transfer BUT... doesn't seem to recognise the fact that my PHILIPS CDRW is a viable device to burn to..... DAMN!

So, after trying - and failing - to make Nero and EZCD recognise the format, I ask: Does anyone know of other burn progs that recognise and burn *.cdi format?

(No sneers over the musical taste okay? I play his stuff backwards and try to spot subliminal messages like "white REALLY is black" and "don't worry boys, i'll be right over HERE ....!") ;)

If you own it, ask for support.

I believe there is a file, or at least there was in earlier versions, called PFC.INI or PFC.INF - where drive parameters are stored - sometimes taking prameters from a similar drive or re-brand and making another entry for your drive may work.

Otherwise, can Daemon Tools open a Padus image
http://www.daemon-tools.net/main.htm - yes, it can - though if it presents it as an audio CD, you may have to RIP it again (or copy it as an audio CD).

I'd suggest ripping to WAV/CUE with EAC - and then you may have to burn with BurnAtOnce - as I suspect that EAC's burn engine doesn't support the Philips

Thanks, Viper, cdi2nero did the trick, licketysplit.
Advice much appreciated. (As was that from LTR12101B, daemon tools site has plenty of helpful gear with regards to cdi format - however, problem already solved.)

Thanx again guys....

@ mamapapaXP np bud.... i sometimes get .Cdi files that refuse to burn with diskjuggler ...usually homebrew dreamcast stuff  so i use Cdi2Nero to convert and burn with nero :)
