Please excuse a dumb question, but i've downloaded the damn key generator for sound forge and I don't know what to put in for computer id to generate the correct serial number. I,ve tried my computer's name , my name even www.cdrsoft.cc but none of the generated numbers are accepted. Any help please?

not 100% sure but
try right clicking on my computer-hit properties
on this screen will be a registered to whoever
under that will be a fairly big number
this number is serial for the windows operating system
they are all suppose to be different for each machine
it might be worth a shot to try it
does it ask for a certain number of digits--ie 4 numbers or 5 numbers??

Thanks for the reply. The damn thing gives no clue as to what it wants it happily generates a serial number for any input. I'll try the registration number you suggest. Thanks

I tried the computer number but no success. The version of sound forge is 5e and the key breaker is quoted for 5b. Could this be the problem?
