an earthquake covering wales and england from the south upto manchester measuring 4.8 on the richter scale and not even a vague shake here happened about 1am local time, was on another board at the time and it went mental, 2 pages of posts in 25 minutes (@40 posts per page) took the bbc 45 mins to report it though so much for 24 hour news reports

Hello i was awaken in the early hours of monday morning wondering what the heck was going on. only just found out it was an earthquake wow. Still here though so arr well no damage done..

I was taking a piss after a night on the forum when the bathroom started to shake.
Any comments about breaking wind are not welcome! LOL!
The wife said the earth moved which is a more rare occurence than an earthquake! He He!

Stevie from experience of these things (Nypro disaster which was like a quake/small nuclear explosion) If your house shook (& dont laugh Im serious) have a general check around at the brickwork etc & pay attentin to these in particular

Damp course >> have the walls moved at the damp course (Weak point)

Roof joists again where they rest on your supporting walls is a danger point (damage occurrs & U never notice)
