D2SRoBa and DVD2SVCD not encoding entire movie

As per the tutorial, I've set D2SRoBa CD length to 4440, and used it with DVD2SVCD. But after I encode an AVI movie on my hard disk, I find that the entire movie has not been completely encoded (during playback,the encoded movie cuts off before the ending even though the entire movie is in the source file).
I know this is probably a simple problem, and I'm sure I'm missing the obvious, what do you recommend?

FAT 32 vcan only handle 4 GB files hence end of movie missing <> most of us use NTFS file system
<> U could try DVD length @ 3950 (would lose some quality) to see if that works BUT go to NTFS <> much better result

Ntfs

Hmmmm that is partitioning the drive correct?
My understanding is that some digital devices (like digital cameras) will not work with a hard drive that is partitioned, is that true?
How do I partition for NTFS?

Cudos for you for suggesting NTFS. :-D That change eliminated the odd error messages I was getting and the encoding process is working fine now.

PS:
If you choose not to convert your file system to NTFS while installing NT, you can still upgrade to NTFS using CONVERT.EXE. You will need the Drive label for the Drive you are changing, which you can get by clicking MY COMPUTER, Right Click, then click PROPERTIES. The label name is there. Now you are ready to change change the Drive to NTFS.
For example, if you want to convert your FAT file system on your drive C to NTFS:
Go to "Command Prompt"
Type:
CONVERT C: /FS:NTFS
Press ENTER (then follow the prompts).

As I quote in the tutorial:

You will also need a Computer with:


* Windows NT, 2000 or XP installed (will NOT work in Win95/98/ME as >4gig files will be created.)
* A Pentium III 550mhz or equivalent as a minimum (needed for CCE to run).
* At least 128mb memory (256mb preferred).
* Hard drive NTFS formated with at least 15 gb free and in one partition.
* A DVD Burner (either DVD-R(W) or DVD+R(W) ) to produce the DVD and some good quality DVDR's.
* A sound card and DVD software player (WinDVD recommended) to check the finished product.

NTFS continued...

I have a peculiar new problem.
I have Windows 2000.
I have two hard drives C: (20 Gigs), and F: (120 Gigs).
I converted C: to NTFS. But drive F: will not stay converted to NTFS.
So, I tried to reinstall Windows2000, but I get an error message that you cannot reinstall Windows2000 if a more recent service pack has been intalled.
Any suggestions?

If you use the tool I linked too all you have to do is point it to:- SP4, Your W2K disc and an ouput destination. Simplicity itself and works very well and quickly.

Autostreamer & SP4

After I download and unzip SP4...
Which file within SP4 do I tell Autostreamer to point to?
Ive tried em all and nothing seems to work.

Yep, I've tried pointing to the application icons within SP4 (all of the following) and it doesn't work. What do you think? Which did you point to?
These are the file names in the unzipped SP4:

Ok, heres another idea...
Windows2000 will not allow a reinstall if service packs and hotfixes have subsequently been installed... What if I delete those? I wonder if that would then allow a reinstall? Or would that just get me a whole slew of new problems?

The solutions you describe didnt work for me for some reason. I finally gave up trying and reformatted and reinstalled Windows, which of course wiped everything off the drive. But at least it is now NTFS.
