Many respected writers point out that their is little point in using NTFS file systems at all.

or maybe people who believe Winblows are unsecure enough and crash enough, so adding them some security and stability (as well as a couple of other utterly odd things like indexing and symbolic linking which aren't supported on FAT32) by using NTFS is just a chimaera.
