yup, NinjaGinger is correct.
At least eDonkey works in correcting these file corruptions, as 99.99% of all other peer2peer clients do not fix them properly.
Also you might notice the occassional time that the file you are downloading exceeds the filesize shown for the file. (eg you have 180MB downloaded so far while the file is supposed to be 167MB).
This is the same thing as the file corruption, where some sector size was bad & eDonkey just gone back to continue downloading/overwriting it. Eventually it will get done & the file will be the original size (167MB in this case).
The donkey is slow though & works typcially better if you get your links from sharereactor.com
