Corrupt AVI Header

Hi

I'm sure this has been discussed before but can't find the thread.

I have an avi which wont play. DivFix reports I/O Error 131, DivXRepair reports "Bad Frame". VirtualDub's error message is "The avi dosen't have a movie data block(movi)!" and Gspot's report is as per the atachment.

Is it for the bin?

Thx

VirtualDUB reports an error but does it load in okay? If so, then set Audio & Video to Direct Stream Copy and then hit Save AVI and give it a new name.

Thanks for youer replies.
When I drop the file on the MPlayer exe, it just flashes up some dos stuff, too fast to read.
I tried the VLC and it wont load and it caused VLC to crash. VLC did however play another file I know to be right.
Are there any other options?
Cheers
