Copying xbox games to Modded Xbox (v1.1) no longer works :(

Hi Guys,

I am hoping someone help me out here.

I have a version 1.1 xbox and I use xToolbox to copy games.
Everything worked great until newer games wouldn't work after being
copied anymore. There is no error message from the DVD copier
but disk size numbers seem wrong.

When I try to launch these newer games it simply resets the xbox
back to EvoX main menu screen. All the older games still work fine.

I did not mod the Xbox myself so I am unsure of the chip version.

Has anyone else seen this? Is this a problem with xToolbox or a
different copyright protection technique?

I don't know anything about the program that you are using but when I backup my games I ftp them to my computer and use a program called craxtion to patch the game image this removes the protection.

i use dvd2xbox to do the copying and have never had general problems (some games have protections that prevent them from being played off the hard drive without patching). try using that, or try burning the games onto a recordable dvd if you have a dvd burner.

I managed to find dvd2xbox on the web and I successfully copied Ninja Gaiden yesterday. This is great!! Thanks again.
