Copy Protection to apply to Data cd

?? i seen some here at cdrsoft but they say that there for music cd's. is there anyway i can apply some protection to a data cd i make a copy of.

i want to make a copy of a retail cd but i want to put copy protection on the copy. the retail version doesnt have copy protection other than cd key.

Take a look at cd shield
h**p://www.cdshield.fr.st/
Obviously it is crackable but it does a job against some programs.

I agree! it's not more powerfull than Macrovision protection...
but it's enough to protect the CD against 'somes programs'

( just a little hard to understand for a very newbie  )

:D

don't know about this one. I haven't found a simple one to install yet (or a retail one).
The question isn't why he would want to do this (even if people like us can crack it), but simply is there such a simple program we can let him know how to use.
I myself do a few 3D designs of furniture & workout equipment & many other things & would have loved to protect my work from the average office worker or other designers I meet.
3 times now someone has stolen my work & taking them to court just hasn't been profitable enough for me (plus all the hassel).
So would be nice to try something that works in protecting some of my CDs also (from just simple drag & drops or easy sleazy creamator copies).

*will try out this cd shield & give feedback on it.

Well, if you're looking to protect simply your product for yourself,
CDSHIELD Light is enough to do this job...

But if you're looking to protect 'more'...wait the next release!
(CDSHIELD SE) more powerfull than the Light version ;)

-:just for info:-
