Converting with TMPGE. ( Help

I've did everything up to the converting part, here when I hit the start button it came up withCan't load P3 Package, where am I going wrong.

Thanks for any help.

Hmm... now thats a new one. I would suggest you re-install TMPGEnc again to start with.

Waht are you converting with TMPGEnc, a d2v from DVD2AVI or an AVI or what,? What version of TMPGEnc are you using?

Bare with me here, I've tried with three diffrent tutorials, DVD2SVCD, DVD2VCD and DVD2VDC (alternetive way ), after trying each one twice and formating my machine between each diffrent try ( just incase I leave something behind )I'm still just about where I was at the start, I've tried and given up before but I'm going to do it this time or bust.

I'm ripping Tomb Raider and Planet of the Apes I've got all the stuff you said to get, ripping goes fine, I've just got a copy of TMPGEnc 2.58 but was going with 2.54 before I've just thought of something, my HD is split and wonder if this could be the cause.

Well off I go again, I just ripped TB again, so I'll start over and go with DVD2VDC. Hopefully you'll stick with me.

To Chickenman.....

Sorry but it did the same thing " Cant load 3p package dll " any ideas where I can start to try and fix this, I will clear the machine out and move all partitions reformat and download all the software again and then see if it still happens. Glad I got 2 machines....... (LOL

I have been using 2.50 to 2.58 as they come out and never have any problems. Inputs are either *.d2v from DVD2AVI, *.avs from Avsynth or *.avi (dicx3 to 5 and xvid) without problems.

I'm using Win2000 with a VIA Kt333 chipset m/b with an Athlon 1800+ CPU

Well I just took down all my partitions and will start a complete download of all the I tems for DVD2VDC.

I have an Antalon 1700xp, with windows 98, just works fine for me, will start the ripping of Tomb Raider and let you know how it goes, I've got my toes crossed.

If it does the same thing I'll update to XP and see how it goes.

Thanks, was waiting for your reply will start my formating and install 2000 tonight, just maybe I can get somwhere tomorrow.

Sorry I have XP but not 2000 will try with that and see if it works, any I deas on that.
